Examples of ControHeat Bolt-On Jackets For Control Valves, Meters, and Instruments

Coriolis mass flow meters are used in may high temperature applications. CSI produces ControHeat Bolt-On Jackets for virtually any meter operating at elevated temperatures. However, designers should verify that the meter selected is capable of operating at the design temperature..

This chemical tee with a ControHeat Jacket is used to measure the flow of a viscous precursor used in polyester resin production.

These types of liquid level gauges operate on a buoyancy principal as old as Archimedes. If the process inside the tank needs heat to remain in a liquid state (in this case, palm oil) all wetted surfaces of the gauge may need to be heated. Note the complete coverage of the ControHeat Jacket on the cage, nozzles, and rotatable head of the gauge, shown right.

Many processes depend on control valves operating at critical processing temperatures. ControHeat Bolt-On Jackets are ideal for these processes because all areas of the control valve are uniformly heated. All major manufacturers of control valves are well represented in the CSI inventory of jacket patterns.
