CH for Pumps
Pumps often need to be heated. Cold process leads to higher viscosity, which can move a pump off its pump curve and contribute to premature pump motor burn-out. Pump heating is particularly critical before start-ups if there is residual process in the pump casing. For processes like sulfur, even small cold spots can cause the impeller to freeze to the pump wall. ControHeat pump jackets are ideal for preventing these types of process issues.
