CH for Valves
ControHeat valve jackets are used in a variety of piping applications to prevent process condensation and freeze-up inside the valve and to melt-out the process following loss of utilities. Smaller valves (NPS < 3-in.) feature a uni-jacket design with only one major jacket section and one pressure chamber. Larger valves (NPS 4-24-in.) feature two symmetric jacket sections with a pressure chamber in each section. Much larger valves may require four or more jacket sections, depending upon the total jacket size. ControHeat valve jackets may also be extended beyond the valve flanges to cover the adjacent piping flanges for a more thermally complete system.
